The Journey of Becoming: A Reflection on UJ@20 Arriving in Johannesburg from Zimbabwe was not just crossing borders, I was stepping into the world that felt both intimidating and exciting. At 20, I had experienced the rich culture and warmth of my home land but I knew studying at the University of Johannesburg would require me to expand my outlook in areas I had not yet imagined.
